One of the newest lodges in Costa Rica, Crocodile Bay Lodge, located on the southern Pacific coast near Panama, is a first-class resort situated on 44 acres of tropical gardens adjacent to some of Costa Rica's most beautiful beaches.  The rooms are spacious and air-conditioned, each room having two queen-size beds and a private deck. 

 Some of the most unique offshore and inshore fishing in the world is on offer here, with an interesting combination of boats and fishing situations to suit everyone's wants and needs. There are back-country flats skiffs available to quietly navigate the many rivers and mangrove estuaries for snook, snapper, corvina etc. or hop aboard the 27 foot Rambo or towered 32 foot Strike for a 30 minute run to catch sailfish, marlin, dorado, wahoo, yellowtail and big eye tuna.  Fishing the volcanic shoreline of the bay and coastline produces roosterfish, jacks, snapper, grouper, sierra mackerel and a host of others.

In addition to fishing, experience nature tours in Corcovado National Park and Rain Forest.  Visit botanical and orchid gardens or go horseback riding on the beach.  Also experience snorkeling, sailing, or ocean, bay and river kayaking.  Take a river cruise or view the dolphins on a sunset dolphin tour and observe the varied species of rain forest wildlife.

SEASON
Consistent annual water temperatures between 80 and 83 degrees insure that inshore fishing along the coastline, flats boat fishing the estuaries and surf fishing is good all year. Offshore fishing is available all year with the months of December through May being best.
